Barn find that was not driven for 22 years. Originally an automatic car that a previous owner had converted to a 3 speed. I converted to SST 5 speed since I drive this car a lot, 3-4 times per week. Custom coves, 400 + hp 327 cid, 373 posi, radial tires, 2 top car. Entire car has been rebuilt except paint and body, what a blast to drive, lays rubber through 3rd.

MoreToo many mods to list but looking to add the TKX next. Has a tubular GT-40 intake, has kinda a road racing suspension (still working on it). Continentals all the way around, 245/45/17s-front and 285/40/17s-rear. Still a ton of work to do and I\'m just getting started. I love it because it was my first Mustang.

MoreI bought this 1978 Malibu in 2023 in Missouri with 33,000 original miles. It’s 3.3L V6 coupled with a TH350 automatic was not going to win any races, however I stayed cool last summer with factory A/C. But the automatic had to go. After researching online and word of mouth, my friend said he had good luck with SST. I contacted them and bought the TKX 5 spd G-body auto to manual kit. After all winter, it now sports a tame LS 6.0L, with the TKX spd transmission, Ford 9” with 3:24 gears, and Dakota Digital gauges. Although the V6/Auto combo was interesting, this is now fun. That TKX transmission shifts so nice, Thanks SST for all your help and making the auto/manual conversion possible.
MoreI have owned it since 1978, 340 motor with a 418 stroker kit. 4 inch rear tubs with 29X 15.5 - 15 Hosier rear tires. full QA1 front rear suspension. And of course the Tremic 5 speed from SST. Just finished the full restoration for the second time, first time in 1989.

MoreI installed my SST supplied Tremec TKX in April of 2021. I also upgraded the dashboard and lense with LED bulbs. Since 2001 I have reworked the suspension, wheels and tires, interior, engine modifications and had the car repainted. It currently has 97,000 original miles and has participated in the Woodward Dreamcruise, Hot Rod Power Tour and Cruisin' the Coast.
