After much research I ordered a TREMEC 5-Speed PerfectFit Kit from Silver Sport Transmissions for my '55 Chevy which had a 700R4 Automatic. They were very prompt and thorough in repsonding to my questions. I received a complete quote quickly and in fact, never received a quote at all from one of SST's competitors. The kit was indeed very complete. A couple of questions came up during installation, but were promptly answered and all went smoothly. I am very satisfied with all phases of this purchase. you can't go wrong dealing with Silver Sport Transmissions.
