This Camaro is my first car, and I have had it since I was 15. My parents bought it for me in the summer of 1988 from the original owner\'s daughter. The car originally had a 4-speed Saginaw 210HP 327 combo and was a patinaed mess. I worked with my Dad and painted it in high school as it was my daily driver. Over 20 years ago my Dad and I installed a 350HP 327, a 4-speed Muncie, and had the car painted. I really like driving the car and wanted to be able to keep up with traffic in the fast lane and that\'s when I decided to update the drivetrain. I just got done installing the six speed Tremec and a new Blueprint Engine 396 small block Chevy. This combo by far is the most exciting thing I have ever done with it. Just under 2100 RPM at 80 MPH and 20.5 MPG with a carbureted 500 HP SBC is incredible! Technical support was fantastic to deal with when I had questions during the installation, and I am very impressed with the quality of the end result. My only regret is not doing it sooner.
