I wanted to reach out, and let you all know, that my 68’ Chevelle has almost 1000 miles on the installation of the T56 Magnum/clutch install now. Changed the fluid from Dexron III ATF to the Synchromesh oil at 500, as required, and it shifts very smoothly.
The transition to an LS 6.0, (carbureted) and the T56 Magnum, made all the difference in the car. It’s absolutely a pleasure to drive/cruise now. The engine is turning 2000 RPM@60 MPH, with a 4.10 rear gear.
