Silver Sport Transmissions has aluminum bellhousings or adapter plates for a variety of engine and transmission combinations including the full TREMEC line of 5 and 6 speed transmissions. Will you be converting to an LS or LT engine? SST's EZ-LS and EZ-LT conversion kits have everything you need to complete the job, including our stronger than stock 621 GM bellhousing with the proper LS or LT bolt pattern.

Do I have to measure my bellhousing runout?

We get some form of this question all the time, but there are no exceptions to this rule! First, failure to measure and correct your bellhousing runout will void your warranty with both TREMEC and SST. Second, the tolerance is .005”; that’s about the width of a dollar bill! A misaligned bellhousing can result in complete failure of the transmission. Protect your investment by performing this quick and simple procedure.
