Torque Rating: The TR-6060 that came with the 2010-2015 Camaro SS is rated at 430 lb-ft torque while the TR-6060 in the 2012-2015 Camaro ZL1 is rated at 560 lb-ft. The TREMEC Magnum XL for GM has a 700 lb-ft rating, a considerable improvement for those who have added more power than the TR-6060 was made for.

Direct Shifter: The Magnum XL also has a direct shifter 28.46" back from the face of the transmission while the TR-6060 uses a semi-remote shifter which can get sloppy over time and has a more remote feel over a direct shifter.

Race Ready: The TREMEC Magnum XL uses a detached bellhousing which means you can choose between an affordable aluminum bellhousing or SFI-rated steel scattershield.

More Options: The gear ratios in the Magnum XL match the TR-6060 that came in the ZL1: 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, .80, .63, but there's also a wider ratio option: 2.97, 2.10 1.46, 1.00, .80, .63.
